iOS 12以降では「透明度を下げる」をオンにしているとドックは地味な色になります。壁紙を設定後にオンにするとグレーになり、再び別の壁紙を設定すると地味な色になります。

On iOS 12 and later, if you turn on Reduce Transparency, the Dock will become a plain color. If you set it to ON after setting the wallpaper, the Dock will become gray, and if you set another wallpaper again, it will become a plain color.

These are wallpapers that put a color on the back of the Dock and color it. It does not mean that any color is acceptable. If it is normal, the color blurs at the top and it becomes thin, but somehow the Dock becomes clear color depending on the combination with the background. I found the combinations.

ドックの裏に色を置いて着色する壁紙です。しかしどんな色でもいいわけではありません。普通なら上の方は色が滲んで薄くなるのですが、なぜか背景との組み合わせによってはドックにくっきり色がつきます。その組み合わせを見つけていきました。
ドックの高さは画面サイズによって異なります。この壁紙は4インチ画面用です。
