​UIを全体的に明るく/暗くする設定です。
​デバイス全体に横断的に適用されます。

ライトモード

ダークモード

3つの切り替えルートがあります。

一回切り替えるだけなら、
① コントロールセンターの明るさ調整に入る方法

よく切り替えるなら、
② コントロールセンターにボタンを追加する方法
がおすすめです。コントロールセンターに追加すれば設定アプリからアクションボタン（Appleサポート）に割り当てることもできます。

​時間を設定して自動で切り替えるなら、
③ 設定アプリから変更する方法
が必要です。

左側がライトモードの、右側がダークモードのアプリ画面です。

​背景の明るさ

​ホーム画面長押し ＞ カスタマイズからパネル左上のボタンで切り替えます。

​ドックの明るさ

iOS 26.1－
ドックとフォルダは背景と周辺の色を反映します。像は不透明、色は半透明。
透明度を下げないとき同様、次の2つの場合だけ明るくなり、それ以外の組み合わせでは暗くなります。
① ホーム画面カスタマイズ: デフォルト＋ライトモード
② ホーム画面カスタマイズ: ダーク＋ライトモード
ロック画面の通知は黒くなりますが、壁紙が白いと白くなります。

ライトモードで明るく、ダークモードで暗くなります。
​カスタマイズの影響は受けません（設定した時はカスタマイズに従いますが画面を一度切り替えると落ち着きます）。

​フォルダの明るさ

iOS 26.1－
​透明度を下げるをオンにしない限り常に一定です。透明度を下げると​ホーム画面カスタマイズのアイコンダーク設定で暗くなります。
iOS 26.0
ホーム画面カスタマイズで壁紙が自動的に暗くなる条件で暗くなります。

​画面の基本

iOS 27以降の対応機種でSiri AIを有効にすると、画面中央上からのスワイプでSiriが起動します。その場合、ホーム画面で通知センターを呼び出せるのは画面左上からに限られます。

It applies system-wide across the device.

Light Mode

There are three ways to switch:

For a one-time change:
① Adjust brightness within Control Center

If you switch often:
② Add a toggle button to Control Center (recommended).
Once added, you can also assign it to the Action Button (Apple Support) from the Settings app.

To switch automatically at set times:
③ Change the setting in the Settings app

The app screen shows Light Mode on the left and Dark Mode on the right.​

​Background Brightness

Press and hold the Home Screen ＞ go to Customize, then switch using the button at the top left of the panel.

​Dock Brightness

iOS 26.1－
The Dock and folders reflect the colors of the background and surroundings. The shapes are opaque, but the colors are semi-transparent.
As with Reduce Transparency  off, they brighten only in the following two cases, and darken in all other combinations:
① Home Screen customization: Default + Light Mode
② Home Screen customization: Dark + Light Mode
Lock Screen notifications turn black, but appear white when the wallpaper is white.
iOS 26.0
​The Dock appears brighter in Light Mode and darker in Dark Mode.
​It is not affected by customization (it may follow the customization right after you set it, but it settles after you switch the screen once).

​Folder Brightness

iOS 26.1－
Remains constant unless Reduce Transparency is enabled. When enabled, folders darken based on the dark icon setting in Home Screen customization options.
iOS 26.0
Folders darken under the same conditions that cause the wallpaper to automatically dim in Home Screen customization.

​Screen Basics

On supported devices with Siri AI enabled in iOS 27 or later, swiping down from the top center of the screen launches Siri. In that case, on the Home Screen, the Notification Center can only be accessed by swiping down from the top left.
