Changes in iOS 12 Home Screen

Changing the display position of iPhone X
iOS 11
Uniform wallpaper size of Parallax Effect: 1301 × 2820 pixels
Display position: 86.5 pixels from the left · 59.5 pixels from the top
iOS 12
Wallpaper Size: same as iOS 11
Display position: 87 pixels from the left · 60 pixels from the top

Only a part of the wallpaper may become dark
iOS judges contrast, brightness, etc. to make the wallpaper darker or change the color of the letter. In iOS 12, even if the wallpaper does not get dark, only white or pale colors will become darker when the letters turn white.

The color of the Dock has been slightly changed
The color of the Dock has been changed slightly when the wallpaper is darkened. It varies depending on model and color. It looks brighter in X and darker in other iPhones.

Rule change of Reduce Transparency
iOS 11
Dock and folder color: constant gray regardless of the background
Setting menu: Settings > General >  Accessibility > Increase Contrast > Reduce Transparency
iOS 12
Dock and folder color: Basically, it is darker than the background, one color with low saturation. However, if the wallpaper is less than a certain brightness, it is one color brighter than the background like the normal mode.
Setting menu: Settings > General >  Accessibility > Reduce Transparency

Icon Badge
Red of the icon badge got a little brighter.

Sizes that cannot be set
As with iOS 11, wallpaper of a very small size within a certain range can not be set. However, its size is different from iOS 11.

Although it is only changes that you do not notice if you use it normally by default, the wallpapers of this site are affected to some extent.
